We are a church plant of Centerview Baptist Church in Jacksonville, NC, proudly participating in the North American Mission Board’s SEND NETWORK—and we’d be thrilled for you to join us on this exciting journey of faith!

Every Sunday, we gather at the Swansboro High School Auditorium (161 Queens Creek Road, Swansboro, NC) for a powerful time of worship, spiritual growth, and encouragement. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or looking for a church home, there's a place for you here. You are truly welcome!

Our ultimate mission is to share the love of Jesus through passionate worship, meaningful outreach, and community-centered ministry in the Hubert area. Just recently, we were blessed to purchase property for our new church campus at 139 Pittman Road in Hubert. We’re not just building a building, but a faith family that lifts up one another and lives out the gospel every day.

Come discover the heart of our church

—and help us shine the light of Christ

throughout Swansboro, Hubert, and beyond!

We can’t wait to meet you!

What We Believe

Christian Booklet_edited.jpg

Our beliefs are grounded in the Gospel and guide our mission to glorify God, make disciples, and live sent. These core beliefs, based on the Bible, shape all our teaching and ministry. As we follow God's call to fulfill the Great Commission through worship, discipleship, evangelism, ministry, and fellowship, Eastview will grow in faith and number, expanding ministries and advancing the cause of Christ.

About the Bible

The Bible is the inspired inerrant Word of God. As such, it is the authoritative standard by which we judge our conduct, beliefs, and opinions.

About Sin

God created mankind, with an immortal soul and moral choice. By his free choice, Adam – the first man, sinned against God and brought sin and death to the entire human race.

About Salvation

Convicted and drawn by the Holy Spirit, genuine saving faith occurs when in response to the Holy Spirit, a person repents of their sin and places their faith in the saving work of Jesus Christ. Faith begins with repentance, leads to a life of obedience, and culminates in eternal fellowship with God.

About God

God is the creator of all things. He exists in three distinct persons, equal in deity, unified in substance. In all things, He is sovereign, holy, and good.

About Jesus

Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a perfect sinless life, died an atoning death on the cross, was bodily resurrected, ascended into heaven, and will return in power and glory to judge the world and finish His redemptive mission on Earth.

About the Christian Life

At the moment of salvation, a believer is permanently indwelled by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables every believer to live a life fully consecrated to God, led by the Spirit, and becoming progressively more like Christ. Eastview Baptist Church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of The Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention on June 14, 2000.

Stan & Tammy 2_edited.jpg

Dr. Stan Budd is the Senior Pastor of Eastview Baptist Church. Pastor Stan grew up in a Christian home outside of Daytona Beach, Florida, where he came to Christ at an early age. He attended Auburn University as part of the NROTC program and upon graduation, was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant into the United States Marine Corps. After a successful 22-year active-duty career, and another five as a civilian employee, he and his wife, Tammy, were called into full time ministry to fulfill their passion for marriage and family ministry for several years with FamilyLife. Ordained into gospel ministry in 2016, Pastor Stan has a growing burden to disciple and mentor a generation of believers who will carry Christianity through possibly its most challenging days and lead others to salvation through Jesus Christ. He holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Human Services Counseling: focused on Marriage and Family, from Liberty University, and a Doctorate of Ministry (DMin) in Guiding Laypersons to Caring for Military Members Desiring Post Traumatic Growth from Southeastern Biblical Theological Seminary. He serves on the board for Hope First Pregnancy Center after many years of serving as the director of the Fatherhood program. He and Tammy have been married since 1989 and have three grown children, Stephen, Matthew, and Kelly Beth, all are married and using their gifts and talents to serve Christ in their workplaces and homes. They also have six wonderful grandchildren they love to spoil.
